About

Classically trained since the age of 5, Claire Cifonie is a versatile and dynamic performer. Her early harp gigs have included orchestral, church jobs, parties, weddings, funerals, and Medieval Dinners.  Her skill at the piano has accompanied many vocalists, school musicals, and even serenaded listening diners at a popular Italian restaurant.

As a teenager, Claire's harp performances included the Rockford Area Youth Symphony, Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Rock Valley College Orchestra, Highland Community College Band and Orchestra, as well as The Nutcracker Ballet with Rockford Symphony.

Miss Cifonie has earned prestigious awards with the Illinois Music Education Association (IMEA) as an Allstate orchestral Harpist.  She was awarded 1st place from the Chandler Starr Miller  competition with both Harp AND Piano.  Her personal fortitude to purchase a Concert Grand Pedal Harp and a vehicle in which to haul the instrument truly shows her devotion to her craft.

Claire took a leap of faith during the pandemic and relocated to Nashville.  In a short time, she will have achieved her degrees in both Harp Performance, and Exercise Science while playing with the Middle Tennessee State University Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. She was honored to perform with the band Tenth Avenue North on their No Shame tour and found her love of studio recording with artists like Liv Lombardi and Jen Dior. She regularly performs with the talented spoken word artist Wisdom Way and has a passion for bringing the harp into contexts beyond its classical heritage.

Claire’s natural performance talent for both piano or harp creates an unforgettable impact for everyone who hears her.  For more information, contact Claire at harpistclaire@gmail.com, or at (615)-200-0317.
